Where's My Water? (iPhone) Review

Disney hopes to achieve App Store domination with Where's My Water?, a wonderfully addictive puzzle game that'll keep you hooked for hours.

Each of the app's 80 levels task you with guiding water to Swampy the Alligator's bathtub.

To do this, you simply drag a finger across the screen to create a path, carefully directing the H2O from its source to a pipe that leads into Swampy's bathroom.

Naturally, things become more complex as you progress. Later stages throw toxic sludge and water consuming algae into the mix, forcing you to study the entire puzzle before making a move. You must also figure out how the water will behave after it's set free. Chalk that up to outstanding physics that make the wet stuff behave like the real deal.

That said, one mistake can prove disastrous, though like many iPhone and iPad games, the restart button is always within reach.

If all we had were a bunch of puzzles, Disney would still receive high praise, but the company took an extra step, crafting a fun story that follows Swampy's exploits to lead a more human like existence and the rival alligators hoping to make his life miserable. It's silly fluff geared towards children, and it works.

Throw in bonus levels, secret items and the promise of free levels in the future, and Where's My Water? is an irresistible title no iPhone/iPad owner should be without.

Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later.
