Blood Brothers Tops Google Play Top Grossing Apps Chart In U.S.
DeNA has reason to celebrate. As it turns out, the company's fantasy role-playing adventure, Blood Brothers, grabbed the number one position on the Google Play top grossing apps chart this past weekend. That means the publisher has three games in the top 10, the other two being Rage of Bahamut holding strong at number two, and Marvel: War of Heroes at nine.
"Following the success of Rage of Bahamut, we are delighted to see Blood Brothers also gaining remarkable popularity in the U.S. and other countries," said Kenji Kobayashi, executive games director at DeNA. "In Japan, DeNA has accumulated extensive know-how on rapidly iterative game design, where we constantly and quickly incorporate user feedback to our games. We see Blood Brothers' success as another solid proof point that the model works across borders, not just in Japan."
On that note, the game has also held the same honor internationally, in such countries as Canada, Sweden and France; 22 in total.
