Journey To Hell March 7 On iOS

According to mobile game publisher Bulkypix, the company's upcoming Journey to Hell pays homage to big guns, super-powerful heroes and bloodthirsty demons. Developed by DogBox, this eye-catching third-person shooter casts players as one of two members of Holy Shield, a secret organization that protects the human race from demons wandering the Earth.

Taking control of either Gabriel or Rachel, users will explore a variety of post-apocalyptic environments overrun with 15 different types of creatures. In fact, Bulkypix claims the game world can support up to 40 on-screen enemies.

Thankfully, the app comes with nearly 30 upgradeable weapons that appear to cover all the proverbial bases, from a flamethrower and machine guns to Blessed Revolvers. How you see the action is what makes the game particularly interesting. From what we've heard, it's third person in Story mode, and first person in Hunt mode.

Top it off with a 80s-style heavy metal soundtrack from The Slaughters, and Journey to Hell looks intriguing to say the least. With a March 7 iOS release and the Android debut TBA, we'll soon find out if this blast-a-thon is worth its $3.99 asking price. For now, check out the trailer.
