Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 Announced for the PSP

A tradition unlike any other...

Sony officially announces Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 for the North American Market today.

Known as Minna no Golf Portable 2, the game has been out since last December in Japan. Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 features 12 beautifully courses to tee off in modes like 16-player online tournaments (a first in the portable series), 8-player local multiplayer, and a robust single player mode with hundreds of character customization options.

"The Hot Shots Golf franchise has been a perennial winner over the years for PlayStation(R), and we are very excited to bring the game's quirky golf experience back to PSP," said Jeff Reese, director, software marketing, SCEA. "With greater online capabilities, challenging new courses, and a variety of gameplay modes, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is a stimulating portable experience that delivers all the charm and fun the Hot Shots Golf series has to offer."

No release date has been announced for Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2.
