I-Play took the deal, obviously...
I-Play and Endemol USA has reached a licensing agreement to bring the popular to bring the popular game show, Deal or No Deal, to mobile phones.
Under the agreement, I-Play will develop, publish and distribute the mobile version Deal or No Deal.
"Having already successfully launched a Deal or No Deal mobile game that's been a Top Ten performer and garnered more than 1.5 million downloads, we are pleased to now expand our mobile catalog with I-play to provide fans with a new mobile experience," said Jon Vlassopulos, Senior Vice President, Digital Media and Branded Entertainment, Endemol USA. "This agreement further extends our commitment to provide fans with compelling entertainment choices across multiple platforms - anywhere, anytime."
To those unfamiliar with the game, the basic premise is to pick a briefcase containing anywhere from $.01 to $1 million. Contestants are given three choices each round: leave with the amount of money in the briefcase on hand, take the banker's offer value or replace their briefcase on hand with another one. I-Play's mobile game hopes to replicate the same sensation and success of television show.
