Metal Gear Solid Reemerges on the PSP

Gpara reports that the original Metal Gear Solid has been added to Sony's line of classic games on its PSP and PS3 download service. Like all the games in the line-up, it will be available for 600 yen, or $6, making it several dollars cheaper than what Nintendo charges for N64 games on the Wii. As far as I can tell, it'll be a polygon-for-polygon port of the Playstation classic that popularized stealth gaming on consoles and rocketed David Hayter to cult-like status.
Given that the series is actually bigger in North America than it is in Japan, you can probably expect it be released here sooner than later.
