Link's, or should I say, Toon Link's latest quest was another award-winning journey. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass has won a Game Developers Choice Award for Best Handheld Game of the Year. The annual event was held yesterday night in San Francisco.
The Zelda series is no stranger to awards as each of the adventure titles was often regarded as the best game released in their respective years. Phantom Hourglass, which had sold 1.1 million copies since launch in the U.S., just adds another trophy to Nintendo's ever expanding trophy case.
Aside from The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Nintendo was also nominated for two more awards: Super Mario Galaxy for Best Game Design and Super Mario Galaxy again for Best Game of the Year.
