Be a Nancy...
Majesco Entertainment Company announced today that they will be publishing Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society for the DS. Developed by Gorilla Systems, the game will be the sequel to last year's title, Nancy Drew: The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park.
Based on the popular book series with the same name, the game follows Nancy Drew, a teenage detective trying to join the Clue Bender Society, a group consisting of the greatest detectives in the world, by competing with two other candidates on different challenges. The trials were interrupted, however, when a secret tome mysteriously disappear.
"The Nancy Drew brand is marked by a distinctive 'snowballing' of suspects, clues and danger as the teen detective works to solve the deepening mystery," said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco. "Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society delivers this signature intrigue while incorporating a host of compelling new interactive features that augment the Touch Screen experience."
Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society will take full advantage of the Nintendo DS's capabilities across nine chapters. To solve the mystery, Nancy will have to utilize the stylus to play mini-games in addition to using the microphone to discover hidden clues.
For those thinking the game would be crap. Keep in mind that last year's prequel turned out pretty decent. Nancy Drew: The Mystery of the Clue Bender Society will be released in the summer.
