SuperGlu...
Glu Mobile announced today its intention to acquire mobile game developer & publisher Superscape. Already unanimously approved by Superscape's Board of Directors, the offer is 10 pence in cash for each Superscape share.
Glu is a leading worldwide publisher for mobile games. They already had several popular mobile games under their belt including Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Diner Dash and Transformers.
The acquisition of Superscape will only add to Glu's ever-growing library. The self-proclaimed world's leading publisher of 3D mobile games, Superscape is one of the top ranking mobile publishers in the U.S.
Greg Ballard, chief executive officer and president, Glu, commented, "This Offer represents an important step in Glu's strategy to become the number one mobile games publisher in the world. Superscape's strong market position in the United States, heritage in 3D technology, and unique position as a leading white label publisher are a perfect complement to Glu's world-class global presence."
Shareholders of Superscape will have a period of at least 21 days to accept the tender offer.
