Apes and bandicoots are now for sale
The PSP's game library just got a big boost thanks to the latest Playstation Store update. PSP gamers can now download and play Ape Quest and Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back from the store.
Starring the wacky apes from the Ape Escape series, Ape Quest is a mini-game compilation with RPG elements. Ape Quest has five different download options: the starter pack (free), red, blue and gold chapters ($9.99 each) and a bundle that includes all three chapters ($19.99).
Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is a classic platformer from the talented developers at Naughty Dog. The vengeful return of Dr. Neo Cortex means more action-packed levels for us bandicoot-lovers. For me, Crash Bandicoot 2 was the best platformer on the Playstation (I may be little biased since it was my first game for the system). For only $5.99, you can relive the golden days of Crash Bandicoot.
In other news, you can now download original PSP games directly from your Playstation 3. Previously you can only download them from the Playstation Store for PC.
