Perhaps now all your dreams of writing with a team of samurais, belligerent robots, and gelato-loving dictators can finally come true...
Modojo is gearing up for some exciting editorial enhancements in 2008, and we could use a few good men & women to round out our team and help us accomplish our goals. Previous experience is not required. Modojo has always been staffed by handheld enthusiasts who loved games and loved writing about games, & this is a tradition we intend to continue.
A variety of positions are available, including spots on the reviews team and news team, as well as positions for columnists that are just interested in ruminating about games in general.
Benefits of joining the Modojo team include:
- Entrance to industry-only events including GDC, BREW, E3, CTIA, and other trade shows.
- The opportunity to have your work read by thousands.
- Free PSP, DS, & Mobile games
- An opportunity for beginning writers to get their foot in the door, and hone their skills with no previous experience necessarily required.
- An opportunity for aspiring writers to develop a body of work, while working with a team of writers, samurais, belligerent robots, and gelato-loving dictators.
- Current writing positions are volunteer, although as Modojo grows we intend to expand our paid editorial ranks.

- What previous experience you have, if any.
- If you do have previous experience, please send a writing sample along in the body of the email.
- What role you're most interested in filling (reviews? news? staff drunk?)
- Some details about yourself. Age, location, hobbies, whether or not you like long walks on the beach, gelato, etc.
