Konami offers incentive to slapping down some green before release
Konami has announced that it is offering a limited edition gift with the purchase of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP, available at select retailers across North America. Those who take the time to pre-order the title at EB Games, Gamestop, and GameCrazy stores, as well as www.konami.com, will receive a free custom body armor for their PSP.
Aside from looking cool, the unique casing will also protect the system from minor bumps and scrapes while allowing full access to the system's controls, ports and UMD bay. The body armor comes in a commemorative gift box and features Metal Gear Solid themed artwork.
The game itself launches for the PSP later this December.
