Oblivion PSP & PS3 Confirmed

The truth is finally revealed
Isn't it swell when cool rumors turn out to be true? We reported a cool rumor once; some crazy number of months ago. Word was spreading that developers Bethesda were in the process of porting Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to the PlayStation 3 and PSP. The report was posted quite earnestly here on Modojo, only to have our readers grill us like a sirloin, so relentlessly. Such cruelty broke the hearts of all the staff members working that day (well, probably not).
But anyway, enough about past events brought up for the purpose of proving a point; let's get down to the details. 1up has reported that an upcoming OPM cover story will reveal the first details and media of the now confirmed PS3 and PSP versions of Oblivion.
The PS3 game is set to feature of a host of added content, while the PSP version, titled Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, will apparently play very similar to its console and PC counterparts, though taking place in a completely different setting. To hear more than that, however, you'll likely have to wait until the magazine drops in stores.
As always, we'll be sure to report any new information on the game as it becomes available. And yes, we do forgive you for the words of pain that cut like razorblades.
