Players will once again be boarding the Arwing, taking to the skies of various planets and the spacious regions of the galaxy. The game is rendered in full 3D and will present a new element to the gameplay called the Commander's View, which will allow players to coordinate their teammates during battle by drawing routes with the stylus.
The game will support Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection for up to four players, as well as a local area connection which will bump the number up to eight players.
Star Fox Command is set to arrive in retailers on August 28.
