Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament 2006 Details Emerge

Masters of the GBA game get a chance to show their stuff

Konami revealed a few details today pertaining to the United States Finals of the official 2006 Yu-Gi-Oh! video game tournament. Competitors will be playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship Tournament 2006 video game for the Game Boy Advance, containing more than 2,000 cards and a variety of new modes.

A selection of sixteen players, chosen from a nationwide online contest, will compete at the Comic-Con International Consumer Expo in San Diego, CA on July 23. The top four duelists from the U.S. tournament will advance to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Finals in Tokyo, Japan on August 5, where someone will be crowned World Champion.
