World Tour Soccer '06 Released

PSP owners get their latest soccer fix

SCEA announced today the release of World Tour Soccer '06 for the PSP, developed by the company's London Studios. Players can attempt to take on the world's best from Africa, Asia, North America, South America, and Europe; ultimately dominating the Globe (except for Australia and Antarctica).

The game was designed specifically for on-the-go play, providing bite-sized gaming sessions in two new arcade modes; Medal Mode and World Tour. An Exhibition Mode features 69 national teams, eight stadiums, and more than 1,650 world renowned players (which is a lot of frickin' players, let me tell you).

For quick wireless matches, up to four players are supported in Ad Hoc mode. Additionally, a game sharing function allows players to share a demo version of the game wirelessly with other PSP owners.

World Tour Soccer '06 for the PSP is rated "E" for Everyone and retails for $39.99. We'll have a review of the title up shortly, so check back soon.
