Midway brings the portable adventure to our shores
Way back in November, Japanese magazine Famitsu reported that Sega was going to bring a version of the popular PC adventure series, Myst, to the PSP in Japan. At the time, no comments on a possible North American release were mentioned, but today we received word that the title will indeed make its way overseas, courtesy of Midway Games.
Developed by Hoplite Research, the game has been properly formatted for the PSP's wide screen display, allowing the series' unique emotive and visual feasts to be taken on-the-go for the first time ever.
Alone on a mysterious island, players set out to explore its grandeur and mystery. A tale of intrigue and injustice is being told here, defying all boundaries of space and time. Soon enough it'll become clear that every action you take can somehow help the unfortunate individuals trapped somewhere in a parallel dimension.
More details about Myst on the PSP, including a release date, will apparently be made available shortly, so check back soon and hopefully we'll have more information for you.
