First Look: Dead Head Fred

A new PSP action title that's worth losing your head over
From developers Vicious Cycle comes a new third-person action game for the PSP, called Dead Head Fred. D3Publisher of America Inc. had it on display at E3 last week, and we got our first look of the bizarre new portable title.
Players take control of Fred Neuman, a private detective who was recently murdered and then resurrected in some form of crazy scientific experiment. And if things weren't bad enough for old Freddy, it seems he's lost both his memory and his head.
Now on a quest for vengeance, Fred attempts to solve his own murder by using the decapitated heads of enemies to battle through a variety of environments. Collect, upgrade and switch heads on the fly to strategically fight malformed mutants, ghoulish gangsters, and maniacal mob bosses, and hopefully put Fred's soul to rest.
Dead Head Fred for the PSP is anticipated for release in Q1 2007. We'll have more details for you as they surface, so keep it locked on Mo.
