E3 2006: Crisis Core Unveiled

First screens and a few details
Its existence has long been known, but today Square Enix has finally given us the goods on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for the PSP.
The fourth game in the now established Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, we see the story of Zack, a member of SOLDIER and old-time friend of main hero Cloud. In the PlayStation game we knew him as man who played a great role within Cloud's own story of self-worth and identity, and other than that, he also happened to be dead during the present time.
Expect a number of mysteries to be revealed and questions answered as you take control of Zack and see his entire story firsthand. The game will be an action RPG, and judging by the screens below, seems like it won't look half bad either.
No word on a release date as of yet, but we'll let you know if anything comes up.
