Ace Combat PSP Officially Announced

Namco gives us the formal 411
Though everyone has probably seen the magazine scans by this point, we thought we'd let you know anyway that Namco officially announced Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception for the PSP today.
The company is striving for a seamless transfer from console to handheld with its beloved franchise, fulfilling the dreams of fans who've always wanted on-the-go air battles and wireless Ad-Hoc dogfights.
The game will sport an all new storyline within the Ace Combat universe, with players taking on the role of an ace pilot trying to liberate his/her home country of Aurelia from its neighbor, Leasath. Namco hasn't specifically said who the main character will be, so perhaps players will have a part in some form of customization? We'll see.
You can expect Ace Combat to arrive on the PSP later this fall.
