Atlus gives DS RPG fans their medicine
Atlus announced today that it has acquired the North American publishing rights to the Nintendo DS action RPG, Contact.
A man known as The Professor has cash landed on a mysterious planet, and soon discovers that the Cells which power his space ship have been scattered about the world. And wouldn't you know it; a mysterious organization is out to collect the Cells before The Professor.
So with the help of a young man named Terry, to two set out on an adventure, periodically making "contact" with you, the player, through the Nintendo DS. The game features a real-time combat system, with a slew of special abilities waiting to be discovered by the player. Character designs come from Atsuko Fukushima, who previously worked on the PSP title PoPoLoCrois.
Look for Contact on the Nintendo DS in the summer of 2006.
