iRiver G10 Unveiled

Screens of the company's new handheld game console
First images of iRiver's G10 WiBro game console were released today, displaying what could end up becoming a significant entry into the handheld market. With an attractive 4-inch WVGA screen capable of displaying 260K colors, and a slick sliding-screen design for enhanced portability, it appears that iRiver is trying to appeal mainly to the "PSP crowd" of handheld gamers.
The system will run on Windows CE 5.0, and come in 4GB and 8GB capacities. It is expected to make an appearance at CES 2006 later this week.
