Fast-paced Pokemon puzzling coming next year
Nintendo of America announced today that it will be bringing the DS title Pokemon Trozei to North America. Already available in Japan, the touch-screen puzzler will have players sliding Pokemon pieces up and down or side to side in order to create various combinations of like-pieces.
The object of the game is to line up four pieces in row, either vertically or horizontally, to form a Trozei, which will then clear those pieces from the screen. Doing this in continuous succession will produce a combo string, where players will have to match less pieces faster in order to increase their score.
The game will feature four different gameplay modes, with two being single player and two being multiplayer, including a bonus option for fans to try and unlock all 380 Pokemon to their Trozei lists.
Pokemon Trozei for the Nintendo DS is expected to arrive at retailers on March 6. You can check out some images of the game by visiting our media section.
