The King of Swing swings onto the GBA. Oh man, that was good.
Nintendo announced today that the latest entry in the famous Donkey Kong franchise has begun shipping to retailers nationwide for the Game Boy Advance. Donkey Kong: King of Swing will have players once again assume control of the much renowned king of the jungle as they swing and climb their way through each of the many puzzling stages.
As it turns out, King K. Rool is up to his old tricks again, steeling the medals for an upcoming jungle contest, and it's up to DK and Co. to get them back. The unique thing about the title is the new control system, where careful utilization of the L and R buttons must be made in order for DK to grab onto objects and pull himself upwards.
The game also features multiplayer connectivity for up to four players to compete in Jungle Jam minigames.
Donkey Kong: King of Swing for the GBA is rated "E" for Everyone and is available a suggested retail price of $29.99.
