Twice the Mega Man love on a single portable
Capcom released a few new screenshots today for two of its forthcoming PSP titles, Mega Man Legends and Mega Man Legends 2.
Previously released on the original PlayStation, we reported a few weeks ago that the games would be coming to the PSP, and later followed up with an official confirmation. Known as Rockman Dash in Japan, the games were a landmark for the Mega Man series, as the little blue bomber saw his first transitions into 3D.
The story of the titles follows Mega Man and his newly introduced gang of friends exploring around the world in an airship. As Diggers, they would search various ruins, caves, and temples in order to find a variety of rare artifacts and treasures.
First screens of the PSP iteration of Mega Man Legends can be viewed here, while similar screens for its sequel, Mega Man Legends 2, are also located on our media page here. A preview video of the first game can be found as well as by visiting the official website and clicking the furthest top right link.
Mega Man Legends for the Sony PSP is scheduled to arrive in Japan this August, with its sequel hitting sometime later in September. Currently there has been no mention of a North American release.
