Lunar DS Receives Official Name

Let the song of the dragon commence
Ubisoft updated its website today revealing the official name of its forthcoming Lunar game for the Nintendo DS. Originally labeled Lunar Genesis, the portable RPG now dons the title of Lunar: Dragon Song.
Furthermore to this name change, the website also contains a slew of new information about the game. The original creators of Lunar: Silver Star Story are behind the development for this portable iteration of the series, which is said to be a prequel.
The story revolves around a hero named Jian, as he and his friends Lucia and Gabriel embark on a quest to save the world of Lunar from unspeakable evils.
The main focus of the gameplay is to convert Dark enemies into beings of Light by use of a new battle system. Players will collect Battle Cards to enhance character attributes and skills, which can also be traded by utilization of the DS's wireless functions.
Lunar: Dragon Song is exclusive to the Nintendo DS and will be available at North American retailers nationwide this July.
