E3 2005: Sonic Rush for Nintendo DS

Rushin' Attack
Last year at E3 Sonic Team displayed a playable 3D demo of everyone's favorite hedgehog on the Nintendo DS. Although many predicted the demo would become a future Sonic DS title, this year Sonic has returned to Nintendo's dual-screen handheld in a new sidescrolling adventure entitled Sonic Rush.
In addition to Sonic, Sonic Rush features a second playable character named Blaze the cat, who has an intersecting adventure within the game. Sonic Rush incorporates a mix of 3D and 2D graphics, while displaying the action on both the upper and lower screens (Sonic and Blaze will navigate between the screens).
Aside from these facts, not much is known about Sonic Rush, including story or if the touch screen will be used. For some screens of the game, head on over to GameSpot.
