Sony Announces New PSP Titles

Three new games on the way in time for the holidays
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) announced today new details on three of its forthcoming PSP titles. The Con, Neopets: Petpet Adventures -- The Wand of Wishing, and MediEvil Resurrection will be available on the PSP beginning in September through to November this year.
The Con is being developed by SCEA's Santa Monica Studios and Think & Feel. Featuring 3D fighting gameplay, the title is based on underground illegal activities, such as fight tournaments and high-stake gambling. Through Story Mode, players will train their character to fight either solo or in a team of three. Also available is a wireless multiplayer mode, allowing players to go head-to-head against their friends. The Con is scheduled for release this October.
Neopets: Petpet Adventures -- The Wand of Wishing is also being developed by SCEA Santa Monica, along with Neopets Inc. The game will be a 3D action RPG, allowing players to choose from a variety of petpet characters to play as. Items can be bought, sold, and traded through utilization of the PSP's wireless functions, as well as a multiplayer competition mode titled Battledome. Neopets: Petpet Adventures -- The Wand of Wishing will be available this November.
MediEvil Resurrection, though already announced, now has an official name and release date. Players once again take on the role of the undead knight Sir Daniel Fortesque as they embark on a 3D action adventure to defeat Zarok, the evil sorcerer. The title is due for release this September.
