School Rumble Comes to PSP

An anime-style adventure game hits up Sony's portable

Bandai recently announced plans to bring the video game conversion of the School Rumble anime series to Sony's PSP. Titled School Rumble: Nesan Jiken Desu, the game will feature 3 different gameplay systems, each presenting a unique style to play out the title's storyline.

As Tenma Tsukamoto, players will try to figure out the mystery behind the sudden and bizarre incapacitation of a fellow student at school. Several other characters will make appearances throughout the story, all featuring fully voiced dialogue. Bandai has also mentioned that multiple story endings will be present.

Being an adventure title, the gameplay will consist of investigating various locales whilst conversing with people in order to piece together the clues and solve the mystery. A pure conversation game, players will read and listen to dialogue and then choose one of several paths to take based on the information they've gathered.

School Rumble: Nesan Jiken Desu for the Sony PSP will be available in Japan this July. A North American release is unlikely, but possible.
