Pokemon Emerald Launch Event Set

There can only be one Ultimate Frontier Battle Brain...
Nintendo announced earlier this year that they would be holding a Pokemon tournament event to celebrate the North American release of Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance. Now that the finalists have been chosen, the event is ready to take place this weekend at Seattle's landmark Space Needle.
A group of 14 Pokemon experts from the United States and Canada will be competing against one another to receive the title of "Pokemon Emerald Ultimate Frontier Battle Brain" along with a trip for two to Japan to see the brand new Pokemon Park.
Grant Goodeve, of HDTV's If Walls Could Talk, will host the event taking place this Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 12pm. Pokemon vehicles, characters, and trading card tables will all be present at the Space Needle for everyone to enjoy whilst the titans battle it out on high-resolution plasma screens.
Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance is rated "E" for Everyone and will be available at retailers across North America on May 1 for a price of $39.99.
