The classic gameplay of the arcade hit has come back in pinball form...
Namco Hometek Inc. announced today that Pac-Man Pinball Advance has gone gold and is scheduled for an April 12 release date in North America. The title features fast-paced pinball action set within the Pac-Man universe, with familiar characters such as Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde.
"Pac-Man Pinball Advance is exactly what the doctor ordered for Pac-Man fans, pinball fanatics and anyone who has ever caught Pac-Man fever," said Jeff Lujan, Business Director at Namco Hometek Inc. "With exciting, addictive game play and intuitive controls, Pac-Man Pinball Advance promises pure pinball satisfaction."
The game will contain 16 levels available on two different pinball tables. Help the residents of Pac-Land by rescuing them from the dastardly ghosts. In standard Pac-Man fashion, players must try to move around the table whilst chomping Pac-Dots and Power Pellets.
Pac-Man Pinball Advance is rated "E" for Everyone, available exclusively on the Game Boy Advance for a suggested retail price of $19.99. For a more in-depth look at the game, check out Modojo's preview">http://modojo.com/articles/previews/gba/pacman_pinball/">preview of Pac-Man Pinball Advance.
