A new RTS from Namco to take on the go...
A new title has been revealed for the Game Boy Advance called Rebel Star: Tactical Command from Namco. This strategic warfare game will feature RPG elements and turned based combat.
Set in the year 2117, an evil empire has controlled the Earth for 70 years through fear and repression. Sending henchmen to abduct people at the age of 30, a band of rebels rises up to fend off their controllers.
The game will feature four different play modes, including a Campaign, Skirmish, Multiplayer Hotseat, and Multiplayer Link Mode. Strategic gameplay will allow players to take advantage of their surroundings through destructible objects and areas. Control individual soldiers in a turn based combat system against the enemy, as you develop your units through experience and equipment.
Rebel Star: Tactical Command is currently scheduled for a tentative August 2005 release in North America.
