Turn-based strategy to Heat up Japan's Summer
Nintendo has announced yet another DS release date (North American launch dates for Meteos and Kirby: Canvas Curse have previously been made public), this time in the form of Advance Wars DS, which will ship June 23 in Japan, with a North American releasing expected some time in the fall.
Advance Wars DS is a turn-based strategy game which has seen numerous iterations dating back from the Famicom/Nintendo Entertainment System to most-recently, Game Boy Advance (spawning a sequel on the handheld). Advance Wars DS will be similar to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance titles, but with notable differences to take advantage of the DS's capabilities.
