Japan: New Nintendogs Details

Three versions of puppy love will be hitting the DS in Japan next month...
Nintendo of Japan announced fresh Nintendogs (known as Puppy Times in the US) details recently, including official confirmation that there will be three different versions of the title when it releases on April 21.
Each version comes with five breeds of dog, so to have access to all 15, gamers will have to seek out other Nintendogs owners and set up a wireless trade, ala Pokemon. Thanks to the DS's innate wireless capabilities, collecting all 15 puppies should prove to be more painless than gaining access to every Pokemon, however. The puppy distribution shapes up as follows:

Nintendogs launches in Japan on the same day as the second round of new DS colors hits- Turquoise Blue Candy Pink. No details regarding a stateside release have been announced, besides confirmation that the US will be recieving the title.
