Metroid Pinball DS "Likely E3"

Modojo gets the good word from an anonymous source inside Nintendo of America. Looks like an E3 release...
Just a day after EB Games listed Metroid Pinball for Nintendo DS, Nintendo of America issued an official statement which many have become accustomed to: "Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation."
However, while sources within Nintendo of America couldn't confirm the title officially, they did confide in us that Metroid Pinball is a "likely E3 contender." If the game's projected December release date does materialize, it will be the second major Nintendo series in as many years to try its hand at pinball.
The first title, Mario Pinball Land on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, met with a lukewarm critical reception, despite selling a quarter-million units. We'll be sure to follow the Metroid Pinball story to see if Samus Aran does make a leap to a completely different genre.
