From any extraction point you can bring up the char select screen. Once you have done this input the following for good cheating times.

up, left, up, left, down, right, down, right, start will make it so your characters are at LVL 99.

Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Left, Down, Right for GOD MODE.

Down, Left, Left, Up, right, Up, Down, Left, Start : Gets you the Silver Surfer.

Up, Left, Up, Right, Down, Right for speedy times.

Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Start (note: you can enter this at the start menu) unlocks all powerssssssssssss
