Pyramid Bloxx is set in ancient Egypt and features two modes of game play - Empire and Quick Game. As "pharaoh of the nation" in Empire Mode, players are tasked with retrieving blocks from the mines to build pyramids, forming an empire. As players progress through the levels, they can retrieve more valuable blocks to build larger pyramids, and earn power-ups and points for special combos. Pyramids are ranked as lasting until a variety of eras across time, including the Middle Ages, the 20th Century or even the Space Age.
