posted April 11, 2007It sucks because there is a 1/8192 chance of sight of 'em. However, me and my DP Pal NeonLatias caught a shiny pokemon in both of our fire reds. She caught a male, lv.67 pink kadabra shiny and I wound up lucky getting a baby cutie blue female shiny ponyta and so far she is at lv. 92. I did not want her to evolve. Rapidash suck. I already have 400 of them... So she thought she could breed kadabra to get another shiny, it failed. Same odds. ;( However, both of our emeralds are super close to shiny. She saw 8,168 while I saw 7,996.

submitted by Rocksteadyposted September 26, 2006There's far too many people out there these days who dread the new Pokemon, and all they ever want is the original 151. Well here you go folks, it's a remake of the original RPG's that far too many of us were obsessed with back in the day. The single player adventure alone is upwards to 25+ hours of game time, but when you consider the fact that it can connect up to almost every other current Pokemon game (LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Colosseum, XD, and Box) it's a game you could be playing for ever. And with the ability to import your FireRed critters into the upcoming Diamond and Pearl for DS all your hard work won't go to waste.
The greatest remake of all time? I'd say so.
