Tapper World Tour

Ask a person to name the best time management games, and he or she will probably mention Diner Dash and Cake Mania, the best the genre has to offer. That said, it's safe to assume that both titles wouldn't exist without Tapper (AKA Root Beer Tapper), the 1983 arcade game known for its frantic and incredibly difficult gameplay. It's been a long time since we've filled drinks and tossed slid them to thirsty patrons, but thanks to Warner Bros. and Square One, we'll once again become bartenders in the upcoming Tapper World Tour.

This new take on the beloved original follows the basic formula, as you quickly fill glasses with frothy goodness and send them to stir crazy customers before they get too close. Except in this case, you'll crisscross the globe to a variety of places, such as Vancouver, Nashville, Cancun, Rio De Janeiro and Hollywood. On top of that, the developers will include themed drinks for each location.

Although the goal remains the same, Square One mixed things up with bars of different lengths as well as ones on the opposite end of the screen.

In addition, you'll unlock mini games that have nothing to do with serving beer, like Whack-A-Mole inspired Anaconda Crush.

One of the coolest features, though, is the hand-drawn visuals and animations by legendary artist Don Bluth, who made a name for himself in the video game world with Dragon's Lair and Space Ace; both are currently available on the App Store.

Unfortunately, we don't have an official release date, but expect to see Tapper World Tour within the next few months. We'll have more on this exciting game in the near future.
