New iPhone And iPad Games February 14, 2013
It's safe to say that the cream of the gaming crop due out at midnight tonight represents a diverse collection of titles. From high-fidelity racing games, to zombie splattering shoot-outs and delicate painting puzzles, there should be something to tickle everyone's fancy. Here's our round-up of the ones to watch on the App Store this week.
Real Racing 3
Firemonkey's visually astounding racing series Real Racing gets a third outing today - expect more tracks, more cars, more cups, and an even shinier look on the latest Apple hardware. It's only currently available on the New Zealand and Australian App Stores, so if you're living outside of those regions we're afraid you'll have to wait until the global release on February 28th. Still, there'll be no shortage of YouTube videos to drool over in the meantime.
Redneck Revenge: A Zombie Road Trip
Zombies eh? Whoever thought of putting them in a videogame? Bulkypix's Redneck Revenge is a survivalist's dream come true, as our southern friend heads out on a rampage against the undead - armed to the teeth, of course, with an assortment of high-powered weaponry including pistols, shotguns and meaty assault rifles. Expect plenty of blood-splattering action in bars, highways and nightclubs in this over-the-top action game.
Puzzle Restorer
Lord knows we do love a good puzzle game at Modojo, so we'll no doubt be putting hours into this new title from Gavina Games. It's a game about restoring paintings to their former glory, and you'll have to use a limited number of brush-strokes to tidy up the masterpieces, draw points together with unbroken lines and carefully mix up colors to get the job done. We can't wait to get stuck into this one.
