Super Mario 64 DS (Nintendo) - What would a Nintendo system launch be without their signature mascot, the heroic plumber Mario? Super Mario 64 DS is basically a reimagining of the classic Nintendo 64 game Super Mario 64, where Mario must traverse through a universe of 3D magic and mayhem in order to rescue Princess Peach from the clutches of the evil Bowser. However, this time around, he's brought some friends along, as Yoshi, Wario, and Luigi can help out during the quest. On top of the already awesome game included, friends can challenge three other players in "star hunts" and duke it out for superiority. Mario lives again!

Metroid Prime: Hunters (Nintendo) - Already proving to be a massive hit on the Nintendo GameCube with the original and the second game, Echoes, the Metroid Prime series now makes a unique shift to the Nintendo DS with this all-new first person shooting opus. This time around, you not only have to face alien threats in huge universes, but you also have to take on other players in multiplayer action. Take control with your typical set-up, or go for something unique and use the touch screen and stylus to blast away with utter precision. Samus Aran is back, and she's packing some major ammunition for the DS.

Mario Kart DS (Nintendo) - The Mario Kart series continues to roll on, this time to Nintendo's handheld unit. Choose from a number of characters from the Mario universe, decide a cup circuit to race on, and then hang on for the ride of your life as you take on the computer opponents using weapons and top speed as your assistants to victory lane. Challenge friends in Wi-Fi play and prove you're the master karter on your block. Mario Kart DS looks ready to appeal to all ages all over again.

Castlevania DS (Konami) - The legacy that is Castlevania has always managed to entertain with plenty of refreshing entries over the years, and this brand new edition for Nintendo DS looks to be no exception to the rule. Reversing itself back to the glorious 2D days, the game takes a fine adventure route as you control yet another doomed hero, out to stop the evil Dracula and his dark army of ghouls and demons. The look of the game is classic Symphony of the Night, with 3D touches thrown in to give it some gloss. And the gameplay promises to be second to none, incorporating the touch screen for some fantastic attacks. Castlevania lives again!

Feel the Magic XY/XX (Sega) - Strange would be a good way to describe this game, but it's so much fun that you have to go a little deeper than that. You control a simple guy who's trying to get the girl of his dreams, but, in order to do so, you have to call upon the assistance of some fellow Rub Rabbits to get her to like you some more. From there, you complete a number of mini-games, from blowing out candles to getting rid of bothersome scorpions and bulls, to get her attention even more and more. The game utilizes both the microphone and touch screen for truly impressive results.
