Atlus Reveals Character Class Profiles for Etrian Oddyssey II

Atlus has released detailed profiles for each of the game's main classes:
Alchemist
Masters of fire, ice and electric magic, adopting spells using slashing, striking and piercing-type damage to entire groups of enemies. They also utilize a powerful return skill that can be a serious lifesaver to any party that forgets to bring a warp wire with them.
Force Skill: Eschaton
This forbidden magic unleashes a wave of pure, untyped energy to obliterate the entire group of enemies.
Landsknecht
A melee class specializing in swords for multiple hits or axes for more powerful single strikes, they can also utilize elemental forces to make their attacks more powerful. They still have the option of eschewing their defense in favor of creating a more powerful offense, but now they have abilities that allow them to become hardier when critically injured, making them less glass cannon-esque in nature.
Force Skill: All Out
A powerful berserker charge that slashes every enemy
Gunner
The archetypical marksman class, they can employ a number of different bullets and firing-techniques to make them versatile and powerful single-target damage dealers. Attacking from the safety of the back row, their specially-made ammo can bind enemies, do elemental damage and even stun them for short periods of time.
Force Skill: Riot Gun
The gunner focuses all of its will into a single, powerful bullet guaranteed to stun an enemy.
