Greystripe Signs Hands-On Mobile

Ad-subsidized free mobile game portal Greystripe announced today that it has inked an agreement with Hands-On Mobile to distribute seven Hands-On titles free of charge to consumers.
Hands-On is the first "top ten" mobile games publisher to allow its titles to be distributed via Greystripe's ad-supported model. The bulk of Greystripe's 800+ available titles have come from smaller, sometimes independent studios that have encountered difficulty getting their titles onto carrier decks.
The news is a major coup for Greystripe, which has encountered overt criticism and skepticism from large game publishers since its formation. The addition of Hands-On titles should largely eliminate the belief that all the games Greystripe distributes are of low quality, and couldn't have commanded the typical $6+ pricetag of premium mobile games.
"Greystripe has created an economically viable alternative to for-pay mobile game distribution with their AdWRAP distribution solution," said Erik Pavelka, Vice President of Business Development at Hands-On Mobile. "We have the ability to distribute our games worldwide increasing our reach for our titles."
The Hands-On games to be distributed by Greystripe are as follows:
1. LEGO Bricks
2. World Poker Tour: 7 Card Stud
3. True Crime: Streets of LA
4. Call of Duty 2
5. Top Gun: Air Combat
6. Pro Bowling
7. Sudoku Garden
