Job Description Position Our international growth has skyrocketed, and we're looking for a talented system administrator with the skills to manage both our production and enterprise servers. This position will have deep impact in all areas of business - including our web/wap portals, our game distribution system, and our ad serving platform. If you can configure web services that scale to millions of users, then you're the kind of person we're looking for. Required Experience Our production servers run on Redhat Linux and use Apache, Mysql, PHP, and Tomcat. A candidate with all of these is ideal, but experience with similar tools (i.e. Oracle instead of MySQL, or WebSphere instead of Tomcat) will also be considered. - RedHat ES installation and maintenance: package management; LVM/RAID familiarity; performance and fault monitoring; security management - Apache and Tomcat configuration: load-balancing and failover configuration; performance monitoring and troubleshooting; security hardening - MySQL administration: replication, load-balancing, and failover configuration; backup procedures - Network management: failure monitoring; experience configuring routers, firewalls, and VPNs, - Shell scripting experience Desired - Nagios, Grinder experience - Source control administration (Perforce P4) - Basic SQL programming - Basic Java programming Company Description Here at Greystripe, we've created the world's first free, ad-supported mobile games distribution network.
