These qualified individuals will be responsible for porting our games onto mobile applications. Our ideal candidates will have had past experience in developing games and networked applications in J2ME/BREW. These candidates will also be strong communicators, enthusiastic and outgoing, excited about working for PopCap Games, and have the "rollup your sleeves and get things done" attitude. Primary Job Responsibilities: -Use existing technologies to port J2ME games to J2ME and BREW devices -Define and review porting strategies -Review and add support for new handsets and technology into the porting framework -Create technical documentations such as UML diagrams, use cases, test plans, etc. -Perform code audits and maintain code quality Required Skills and Abilities: -2+ years of professional development experience with object oriented programming in C++ -Experience in porting graphic intensive applications to multiple J2ME and BREW devices -Experience with source control such as CVS/Perforce/Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and build environments such as ANT -Thorough knowledge of software design concepts, such as object oriented programming, common design patterns/algorithms, and development lifecycles -Excellent debugging and optimization skills Education Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or related field and experience PopCap offers competitive wages and benefits for our employees.
