Job Description
We are looking for a skilled artist to assist us in the development of a wide variety of games we plan to release in the near future. Applicants will work alongside industry experts in a creative and fun environment.Since we create games with a small, albeit highly efficient, development team, all our employees need to exhibit exceptional time management skills, bearing high responsibility tasks with minimal effort. You will need to work as a team, but also independently on challenging and interesting projects. Responsibilities will include: - Creating in-game graphics from menu screens to backgrounds to characters. - Designing intuitive user interfaces. - Creating concept artwork to demonstrate the plausibility of a particular game design or layout. A successful candidate will require: - Strong skills in digital artwork, especially in both static and animated 2D graphics. - Ability to represent a wide spectrum of moods and artistic styles, including cartoons, realism, fantasy, etc. - Working experience with Adobe Creative Suite. - A passion for gaming, and a keen understanding of games and their artwork throughout history. - Good communication skills. Desirable assets include: - Prior work experience in creating game artwork on shipped titles. - Experience with user interface design. - Experience in character design and concept artwork. - Experience in the creation of brochures and other marketing assets. Include with your application a portfolio that exemplifies your range of skills in both digital and non-digital artwork. Also include a copy of a marks transcript from your educational institution.
